Description

Menicon MeniSept is a one-step 3% hydrogen peroxide cleaning and disinfecting solution for your contact lenses. It is Menicon’s replacement for Soleko Platinum.

Each bottle comes with its own neutralising case, so there are no tablets to add. Soak your lenses for at least 6 hours: after that, the solution is fully neutralised and your lenses are ready to wear.

Citric acid, a naturally derived ingredient, removes protein deposits from your lenses, and polyethylene glycol, a wetting agent, helps them retain moisture for all-day comfort.

It’s suitable for:

  • Orthokeratology (ortho-k) lenses
  • Rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses
  • Soft contact lenses

MeniSept is made by Menicon in Japan.

How to use

Daily routine:

  1. Put your lenses in the neutralising case that comes with your bottle and fill it with MeniSept.
  2. Leave your lenses to soak for at least 6 hours.
  3. After 6 hours, the solution is fully neutralised and your lenses are ready to wear.

Good to know:

  • There are no tablets to add: a new neutralising case comes with every bottle.
  • MeniSept also works in Soleko Platinum cases, which are slightly larger than the MeniSept case.
  • You can store your lenses in MeniSept for up to 7 days.
  • Use each bottle within 3 months of opening.

What is Menicon MeniSept?

MeniSept is Menicon’s one-step 3% hydrogen peroxide cleaning and disinfecting solution for soft and rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses, including ortho-k lenses. It’s made by Menicon in Japan and replaces Soleko Platinum.
Does MeniSept replace Soleko Platinum?

Yes. Menicon is discontinuing Soleko Platinum and replacing it with MeniSept. Like Soleko Platinum, MeniSept needs at least 6 hours in a neutralising case before your lenses are ready to wear. One difference: MeniSept bottles are 300ml, while Soleko Platinum bottles are 360ml.
Can I use MeniSept with ortho-k lenses?

Yes. MeniSept is for soft and RGP lenses, and ortho-k lenses are RGP lenses. Follow the lens care routine your optometrist has given you.
How long do lenses need to soak in MeniSept?

At least 6 hours. After that, the solution is fully neutralised and your lenses are ready to wear. There are no tablets: a neutralising case comes with every bottle.
Can I use my Soleko Platinum case with MeniSept?

Yes. Menicon has confirmed MeniSept works in Soleko Platinum cases. The Platinum case is slightly larger than the MeniSept case.
