Description

Optimel Eyelid Cream is a soothing, everyday moisturising cream designed to protect and nourish the delicate skin of the eyelids and surrounding eye area. Formulated with 16.5% pharmaceutical-grade Leptospermum spp. honey (Manuka-type honey) and jojoba oil, it helps comfort dry, irritated, flaky eyelid skin while supporting the skin’s natural barrier.

Dry eye conditions such as blepharitis and meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) are often associated with skin concerns like eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis. Optimel Eyelid Cream is a low pH emollient that helps support the skin’s protective acid mantle – an important part of barrier function and antimicrobial activity. The humectant properties of honey help draw and retain moisture, while jojoba oil (similar to the skin’s natural oils) helps soften and condition without feeling heavy or greasy.

How to use

Apply a small amount of Optimel Eyelid Cream to clean, dry skin of the eyelids once or twice daily, or as directed by your optometrist or eye care professional.

Reapply after washing if needed.

When using for the first time, patch test on a small area of skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Avoid direct contact with the eye.
