Menicon Orthokeratology (Ortho K) Solution Pack

Daily Routine with Ortho K:

1. Open the provided neutralising case and lift open the red and white contact lens cages.
2. Put your contact lenses into the red and white cages and ensure you remember which colour is your left and right contact lenses and close the cages.
3. Pour the Menicon Soleko Hydrogen Peroxide solution into the neutralising case provided up to the line on the case and close the case.
4. Allow them to neutralise for at least 6 hours (overnight).
5. In the morning, your contact lenses are clean, fully disinfected, and ready to wear with no rinsing required.
6. Pour out the solution in the case and let it air dry in a closed cupboard.

Monthly Deep Clean for Ortho K Lenses:

1. Open one vial of Progent A and one vial of Progent B by gently twisting the caps. Hold upright to avoid spills.
2. Pour Progent A first, then Progent B into the vial. Avoid contact with skin or clothing.
3. Secure the contact lens holder cap onto the vial and gently shake a few times. The cleaning process begins once both solutions are mixed.
4. Soak lenses in the solution for 30 minutes.
5. Remove the contact lens holder cap carefully and rinse thoroughly with a compatible saline then insert your contact lenses to use them right away or place them in Menicon Soleko Platinum Hydrogen Peroxide system to soak overnight.
6. Dispose of the used solution. Rinse the vial and lens holder with saline and allow them to air dry.
